 CLUB NEWSLETTER April 2026  Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley is excited to share plans for a brand-new youth campus in Silver Springs! After more than 17 years of operating within shared school spaces, the Club is working to build a dedicated facility that includes both a full-service clubhouse for K-12 youth and an early learning center for infants through preschoolers. This expanded campus will provide age-specific spaces, modern technology, and enhanced programming opportunities in a safe, supportive environment tailored to the needs of the community. The new facility will feature a large recreation area, dedicated teen center, multiple program rooms, and a shared commercial kitchen and cafeteria to support daily meals and activities. Located adjacent to Silver Springs schools, this project represents a major investment in the community by creating more space, more resources, and more opportunities for every child to learn, grow, and thrive! Out of the Screen, Into the Club  Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley is excited to announce our upcoming Out of the Screen, Into the Club Campaign as we prepare for a fun, active, and enriching summer season. We all know too many kids are wandering around after school, on their phones sitting at home, glued to a device or four, and are largely unsupervised when not attending the Club between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. NOW – Take that and multiple it by three as we head into the summer months. Summer is a prime time for the Club. No school or youth sports, lots of time during the day, and parents still going to work create the perfect formula for kids to come to the Club. Be on the lookout for more information about how you can renew or sign up for the 2026-27 membership year! |

 Only four months to go until the 25th annual Night in the Country and now is the perfect time to grab your passes and start planning for your weekend under the Nevada sky! The signature summer country music festival brings great music, unforgettable memories, and an incredible sense of community, all while supporting the youth of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley. It’s our Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping us to provide safe spaces, caring mentors, and life-changing programs for kids across our communities. Get your passes today and get the planning festivities rolling with your camping crew!  Ariyah B. started at the learning center as an infant and has moved into the toddler room. Since moving up to the toddler room Ariyah has grown so much! She went from being a shy and quiet girl to now running around, playing, and laughing with her friends. She is always brightening everyone’s day with her kindness and compassion towards her peers.  Last week, families across our Club communities came together for fun-filled Family Nights, highlighted by festive egg hunts that brought smiles to kids and parents alike. From laughter and friendly competition to time spent connecting with one another, these evenings were a wonderful reminder of the joy and togetherness that make our Club so special. Families were invited to bring their baskets, enjoy the activities, and celebrate the season. We’ll see you all again at the Club for the next family night!  We are proud to celebrate our 2026 Youth of the Year, Barbara, for her outstanding representation of our Club at the Nevada State Youth of the Year competition. Competing alongside top youth leaders from across the state, Barbara shared her story with confidence, heart, and authenticity that left a lasting impression on judges and attendees alike. Her journey, leadership, and dedication to helping others truly reflect the values of the Club and the strength of our community. |
