LCSO Deputies Collins, Hernandez & Silva Graduate from Peace Officers Standards & Training

Lyon County NV – November 20, 2025

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office – Nevada announced:

“Deputies Hernandez, Collins and Silva graduated the Nevada POST Academy today. All three will be assigned to the Southern Area Command. We are proud of their accomplishment!”

During the past 4 months, LCSO Deputies Collins, Hernandez and Silva have been training full time at the Nevada Peace Officers Standards & Training facility in Stewart, Nevada where they were also required to live on campus. All three were training as Category 1 Peace Officers.
