John Bunker Palmer, 67, of Yerington Nevada, passed away peacefully on November 10th, 2025.
John was born in Akron, Ohio, to his parents, the late Ronald and Cecilia “Betty” Palmer. He grew up in a lively household in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio alongside his siblings Tom, David, and Carol Palmer.
John was an avid dancer in his youth and carried that love of movement and athleticism throughout his life. He enjoyed volleyball, NASCAR, coaching gymnastics and any chance to be active or share in the excitement of a good competition. He had a playful sense of humor, a generous heart, and a deep love for two daughters.
Preceded in death by his parents, John is survived by his brother David; his ex-wife Jennifer Palmer; and his two daughters, Kylee (Justin) Nelson and Gabrielle (Steven) Dutson. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Ira and Lyla Nelson, who brought him immense joy.
John will be remembered for his kindness, his quick wit, and his unwavering support for those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories he created with family and friends.
