Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley launches year-end giving campaign to strengthen programs across Yerington, Dayton, Silver Springs & Hawthorne

Yerington, Nev. – As Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley enters the final stretch of 2025, the organization has announced the launch of its annual year-end giving campaign to support kids and teens across the communities of Yerington, Dayton, Silver Springs, and Hawthorne.

Funding raised will ensure continued access to safe spaces, meals, sports, academic support, and mentorship for thousands of young people in Lyon and Mineral County, resources that are especially critical in times of uncertainty.

“We’re extremely thankful that our community always steps up and we’re confident this year will be no different,” said Travis Crowder, Chief Executive Officer of the Club. “Every child deserves the chance to succeed, and together, we can ensure our youth have the support and opportunities they need to thrive.”

Why Your Support Matters

Gifts to Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley directly fuel academic success, emotional well-being, and leadership growth in local youth. Annual data reporting is clear:

  • 91 percent of Club members report feeling emotionally safe at the Club.
  • More than 80 percent of members have fun at their clubhouse every day.
  • Club kids are more likely to earn As and Bs, according to Boys & Girls Clubs of America data.

“Because of our supporters, Club kids in our rural communities feel safe, seen, and prepared to succeed in school and beyond,” added Crowder. “Your donation today unlocks a world of possibility for local youth in communities where the Club is more than just a place to go before or after school. BGCMV clubhouses are a vital resource for families, an active partner in community events and programs, and a place where kids grow into confident, capable leaders.

Residents, businesses, and community partners are encouraged to join in ensuring the Club enters 2026 strong.

“We’re entering the season of giving and rural Nevada kids need you,” said Crowder. “Let’s finish this year united in purpose and hope for our youth.”
