Where do we even start?
We’re so proud of all the amazing women on this team and everything we’ve accomplished together.
From starting as the 4th-place team, to battling through the semifinals and defeating the #1 team, to making it to State for the first time ever! This season has been unforgettable.
We may have finished in 2nd place, but I’ve never seen a team fight the way my Lady Lions did. You played your hearts out for 80 minutes, pushed through two 15-minute overtime halves, and never once gave up.
We didn’t let White Pine defeat us, we fought until the very end.
Even though the game ended in penalties, we came home with a State Championship trophy and that’s something to be incredibly proud of.
After so many years, we brought something home!
Shoutout to our Lady Lions, WE MADE HISTORY, and every one of you should be proud of yourselves.
To our seniors: We’ll miss you all so much, but I’m wishing you nothing but the best in everything ahead.
