Schurz NV – October 17, 2025
The Walker River Paiute Economic Development Authority (WRPEDA) Board of Directors had a productive day on the Walker River Paiute Reservation focused on continued collaboration and economic opportunities within our community.

The day began with a meeting with the Walker River Paiute Tribe Tax Department and Tax Commission, followed by a roundtable discussion with the Tribal Council and the Regular Board Meeting.

The Board and our legal counsel also toured several tribal businesses, as well as the areas of Walker Lake and Weber Reservoir.
This visit also served as the formal introduction of Bryan Newland, the new Attorney for the Walker River Paiute Economic Development Authority.

WRPEDA appreciates the hospitality and engagement of the Tribal Council, departments, and tribal businesses who made this visit both meaningful and productive.
