City of Yerington Announces Sewer Pond Maintenance

9.26.25 Public Notice from the City of Yerington :

Significant repairs and maintenance were performed on our sewer ponds (a.k.a. wastewater lagoons) this week.

These repairs will improve processing of waste and odor control.

Be aware that disrupting the materials and chemical balance to process these upgrades may cause a temporary increase in odor.

It is expected that any increase in odor should dissipate over the next 72 hours.
