Vickie Erickson: New Manager at The Attic Thrift Store:

July 8, 2025 Yerington NV – We’d like to extend a big welcome to Vickie as our new Manger at The Attic Thrift Store! A familiar face to many, Vickie has been working at the store for around two years, welcoming customers, keeping it clean and organized, and being a wonderful asset to Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley and the overall community of Yerington. We couldn’t be more thrilled with Vickie stepping up to this leadership position!

Asking Vickie what she enjoys so much about working at The Attic, Vickie pointed to the community. “We are open to the community and provide quality, donated products at low cost to meet their needs.” It’s a full circle approach of the store from the donations by the community, to community members purchasing those goods, to 100% of the funds received going directly to support local youth so they can reach new heights. 

With Vickie stepping into this role, she doesn’t anticipate many major changes to the attic. However, Vickie is focused on making The Attic as clean, organized, and presentable for shoppers as she can.  “It’s the same Attic, all are welcome, we have regular deals, and what have plenty of goods people are in need of.” 

From the area, with 3 grown children, a few furry pets, and time in the community of Yerington, please be sure say high to Vickie on your next trip to the store and be on the lookout for new deals!  “Working here is like Christmas every day,” says Vickie. With new donations coming in daily, if you don’t find what you’re looking for on your last trip, it may be in stock on your next one!
