The Mason Valley Singers are tuning up for their upcoming concert, The American Story; A Journey Through America’s History Through Song scheduled for Friday, July 11th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jeanne Dini Cultural Center. This patriotic concert will take the audience on a forty-five minute journey through major events that have shaped this great nation. Folk songs and beloved American classics from whaling through post Civil War will keep you toe tapping, reflecting, and celebrating the American spirit! Admission is free to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted! Donations support Through a Child’s Eyes Foundation’s mission of bringing the magic of the stage to children of all ages as well as Yerington Theater for the Arts and the Historic Jeanne Dini Cultural Center.

The Mason Valley Singers under the direction of Karen Pedersen and Nathan Johnson, and accompanied by Denise Aiazzi is a non-audition, local choir sponsored by Through A Child’s Eyes Foundation. The choir meets on Mondays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Studio 14, Weed Heights. Knowledge of reading music is a plus but not required. Our directors work on vocal training and technique, music theory, and performance skills as part of the weekly rehearsal. We would love to have you!
