From Paiute Language Coach E’sha Cepane Hoferer:
May 9, 2025 Reno NV “It was a tough competition with four other schools: Reed HS, Wooster HS, Mcdermitt HS & Spanish Springs HS.
“It was alot of fun watching all these guys come to RSIC Reno Sparks Indian Colony and compete against other schools. Get ’em out of their small worlds and meet their peers here in NV. All family end of the day.
“Thank you: Education Department – Walker River Paiute Tribe; NYCP Coach Belinda, Carissa & Ysela for helping bring our kids to the bowl. We got to bring others from the classes & Paiute class alumni who wanted to show support for the participants.
“Really, really proud of these guys and all my classes. We are always working day in and day out, throwing everything I can at them while making it fun and entertaining.
“Thank you, Mac & Fawn for recognizing the seniors of this year. Our Kylee Renae Bearcloud was being recognized as one of our seniors and OG Paiute Class Vet.”
