Joseph Albert Milligan, Jr. passed away at the Carson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Carson City, Nevada on Sunday evening, January 19, 2025. He was 101 years old.
Joseph was born in Miles City, Montana on December 18, 1923, the son of Joseph and Lillian Milligan. He was an Army veteran. He served during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater; he received the American Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Joseph had lived in Oregon & Idaho, then for the past 2 years in Yerington. He worked many years as a plasterer.
He is survived by his sons, Dennis & wife Mary, and Robert; his daughter-in-law, Claudia Milligan; his 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Louise, and his son, Ron.
