Yosselin Vazquez Madera won the Lyon County Poetry Out Loud Competition on February 6, 2024 at the Jeanne Dini Center in Yerington, Nevada.
Eight Lyon County School District high school students, all from Yerington High School competed, by reciting poems they selected from the Poetry Out Loud website.
Yosselin will be representing Lyon County at the State Level Competition in Reno at the Pioneer Center on March 9!
