Yerington, Nevada ~ Deputy Melody Holland began her career with Lyon County Sheriff’s Office on January 30th of this year. She is a long time resident of Lyon County eager to serve her community.
Deputy Holland has successfully completed field training for patrol and will serve the Mason Valley area. In July she will attend the state POST (Peace Officer Standard and Training) Academy for the next four months.
“My heart every day is to seek to serve whoever is put in my path…to serve my community to the best of my ability…the way that officers have served well in my life.” – Deputy Holland.
