On the morning of Tuesday, January 3, 2023 Brad Pope was Sworn In as Sheriff of Lyon County, Nevada by District Court Judge Leon Aberasturi at the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room in Yerington. This ceremony included other officials elected in Lyon County.
Sheriff Pope was joined at the ceremony by his immediate family and by his Command Staff:
Chief Deputy / Northern Commander: Mitch Brantingham
Western Commander: Abel Ortiz
Central Commander: Jeff Miller
Southern Commander: Ryan Powell.
Throughout the day on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, all deputies were sworn in under the leadership of Sheriff Brad Pope.
