Coach Brad Pope Reports: Yerington Lions Swept the Dayton Dust Devils in Season Opener

The Lions opened their season with a 44-0 win over the Dayton Dust Devils on Thursday August 18th.

The Lions were led by Sophomore Quarterback Cameron Reyes who went 6-6 for passing, 86 yards, & 3 TD Passes; Running Back Felix Garcia who had 128 yards rushing, 24 yards receiving, & 2 touchdowns; and Running Back Erick Rodriguez who had 111 yards rushing & 2 touchdowns.

Lion Defense shut the Dust Devils down only allowing 167 yards of Offense.  Linebacker Sammy Rios led the Defense with 10 Tackles!
