Lyon County Road crews are busy with snow removal throughout Lyon County. Crews report 3 to 4 inches in Mason Valley, 1-2 inches in Smith Valley and the Highway 50 Corridor.
Crews are finishing up now and anticipate more snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Lyon County urges residents to pay attention to weather conditions and give themselves sufficient travel time tomorrow morning.
There have been no reported significant events, injuries or deaths related to this storm event.
