Barbara Shipley Arnett: “Dance With the Angels”

On September 16th, 2021 Monique Shipley Herbst wrote of her mother: “Heaven received another beautiful Angel today! My heart is broken and we are going to miss you more than words can ever say but we all know you are in a far better place. Rest In Peace my beautiful mama and dance with the angels! I love you!”

Monique wrote on September 24th: “For those of you who have been asking, we will be having a grave side service for our beautiful, sweet mom, Barbara Shipley Arnett on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Valley View cemetery in Yerington.

We’ll be having a celebration of life luncheon immediately following the services at the Cabin Fever located at 36 State Route 339 in
Yerington.

All of her friends (and ours of course) and family are invited to come join us in celebrating her life. My brothers, Paris, Troy and I thank you all for the outpouring love and support you have shown us during this time.”

Barbara Lee Arnett passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at South Lyon Medical Center/LTC in Yerington.  She was 86.

Barbara was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 24, 1934 the daughter of Claud and Opal Moore.

She worked may years as a telephone operator for Continental Telephone Company.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Valley View Cemetery.  A reception will follow after the graveside service at Cabin Fever (Log Cabin) 36 Hwy 339 Yerington.  Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.FRFH.net.
