***UPDATE August 19th, 2021*** PARADE IS ON! PARADE IS A “GO” Per Lyon County Fair Board! 10am Saturday, Main Street, Yerington.
As of Monday August 16th, ONLY 14 entries have signed up for the parade! Lisa Tibbals, Secretary of the Lyon County Fair & Rodeo Board wrote: “It’s in jeopardy of being canceled if we don’t get more entries by Wednesday at 5:00pm!”
On Saturday, August 21st, the Parade is scheduled to start at 10:00am.
Entry forms can be picked up at Nevada Legal Service 720 S. Main St or go to lyon-county.org For more information: 775-221-4087.
The sky is the limit for parade entries: Sports Teams, Cheer, and Dance entries; Car Clubs ; Service Clubs; Boys & Girls Clubs; Horses & Livestock; School Alumni; Business entries; Individuals; Bag Pipes, Marching Bands; Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, State Parks entries; Etcetera.
