Omar Rodriguez Lopez volunteered to be the Master of Ceremonies for the Yerington Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Horseshoe Tournament.

Clouds began to drift in after 2pm, cooling the temperature down a bit.
The iron shoes kicked up some dust, thudded against the throw barriers, and occasionally rang metallic for a ringer.
And the winners? Anyone who participated. Some went home with a bit of jingle in their pocket though…and bragging rights.
