Jana Lea Cox-Stingerie, a resident of Yerington, tragically died on March 12, 2026, following a traffic collision at Walker Lake. A Memorial Service was held for Jana in Schurz, Nevada on March 28, 2026. Jana was a beloved mother, aunt and friend.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
