The Yerington Lady Lions basketball program proudly announces that Saydee Whistler has been chosen to participate in the Next Level Showcase, taking place on Saturday, April 11 at North Valleys High School. The girls game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
The Next Level Showcase highlights some of the top basketball talent in Northern Nevada, bringing together standout high school athletes for a competitive and high-visibility event.
Designed for players aiming to elevate their game, the showcase provides a platform for student-athletes to demonstrate their skills in front of college coaches, scouts, and recruiters. It serves as an important opportunity for those looking to strengthen their impact at the varsity level and pursue basketball at the collegiate level.
Last weekend, Saydee was in Las Vegas to play on her travel basketball team for EESHA. She will continue to travel, once or twice a month for 2026, working to continue building on her already-amazing skill set!
With the support of her immediate & extended family, and the community, Saydee Whistler gained her love for basketball at her home hoop and at the Agai Dicutta Gymnasium in Schurz, Nevada. While petite in stature, she is a MIGHTY player. Just ask her teammates!
