Barbara Casarez-Hernandez, 2026 Youth of the Year at Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley, travelled to Las Vegas this month to compete at the Nevada Boys & Girls Club 2026 Youth of the Year competition.

The award ceremony was held at the Allegiant Stadium with finalists’ family, friends, donors, government dignitaries, and leadership from Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Nevada in attendance.
