“The interior view of St. Mary’s of the Mountains in Virginia City. Virginia City is one of my favorite places to take out of town visitors. It is so rich in history and offers unlimited photo opportunities. Of the many outstanding landmarks, St. Mary’s of the Mountains is everyone’s favorite.
“Built in 1877, it is the oldest continuously operating catholic church in Nevada. Mass is held on Sunday and Wednesday and the church and museum are open every day 10 am to 5 pm.”
