Celebrating the Champions and Unforgettable Moments of This Year’s Festivities
Every year on the 3rd weekend of August, the Lyon County Fair & Rodeo grounds in Yerington, Nevada burst into life.
Here is the comprehensive list of “The Home Grown Fair” schedule, the volunteers that make it happen, followed by event & contest results (quoting from the fair board members):
L & L PRODUCTIONS TRUCK & TRACTOR PULL RESULTS – LYON COUNTY FAIR!
What a show — **loud, intense, and full of horsepower action!** With **67 pulls** tearing up the track, the crowd was on their feet the whole time! A huge THANK YOU to all the pullers who came out and supported our event — you brought the noise and the excitement! And a big shout-out to **L & L Productions** for putting on another incredible show. You never disappoint! Until next time… keep those engines roaring!
**CUTEST LITTLE COWBOY & COWGIRL CONTEST WINNERS!**
So many adorable little cowboys and cowgirls showed off their western style — and they were ALL just the cutest!

What an incredible day filled with **fun, laughter, and friendly competition!** Huge **THANK YOU to Michael and Jennifer Keats** for hosting this amazing event — couldn’t have been possible without your time and support!! From start to finish, the arena was packed with cheering, laughter, and heart-pounding excitement!

Both winning teams rode hard and took home a **CASH PRIZE** A HUGE shout-out to all the other teams who saddled up and gave us one wild, fun adventure ride!

Yerington NV Police Department sponsored Sunday’s Mud Volleyball Tournament and reported:
“Congratulations to the Vaqueros for winning the championship game in the mud volleyball tournament today. And the first losers… we mean second place team was the Mud Ballers. Good job and thank you to all of the teams for coming out and playing. As far as the YPD team, let’s just say we didn’t wanna smoke everyone at our own tournament, so we let everyone else win right from the start. We did win the first responder challenge due to the fact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Battleborn Medevac and Mason Valley Fire Department forgot to show up! See you all next year!”
