Walker River Little League Seniors Represent Nevada in National Regionals

WRLL’s Senior League Team, ages 13-16 years of age, played their first game in Oakland, California on Thursday, July 17, 2025 against Montana’s Team. And for the small town Nevada team, the 16-0 shutout was a huge confidence builder!

Walker River Little League reported: “Walker River Senior Boys (Nevada) defeats Montana 16-0 in their first game of the Regional Tournament! Congratulations boys and coaches!
They play next Saturday at 3 p.m..”

Shane Martin shared: “These boys came to play!!! 16-0 game #1 in the books!”

Distinguishing themselves from their younger Little Leaguers, the Senior League Teams are 13-16 years olds and play on a conventional diamond with a 60 feet 6 inches pitching distance!

July 20, 2025 From Shane Martin: “These boys battled. They made memories that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, they did not make it to the top 4. They did however represent our small town of Yerington, our State of Nevada! Most importantly we are so proud of the way they played! Even in a loss they smiled and just enjoyed the game! Thank you coaches, parents, and team it was one for the books!”
