Yerington’s 4th of July Celebration coordinated by the Yerington Chamber of Commerce was A BIG HIT!
It all began with a Main Street Bike Parade led by Mason Valley Fire Protection District’s Big Red Engine and tailed by the Big Red Ambulance.

2025’s 4th of July event proved to be bigger and better than ever: featuring the First Responders Benefit Red, White and Brews as part of the celebration!


Community members and visitors came out to celebrate Independence Day 2025 while enjoying food, music, shopping, and family fun all day long.

The Yerington Lion’s Club Kids & Family Games at Mountain View Park attracted a crowd of participants and cheering observers:



Omar Rodriguez Lopez who is a Yerington City Councilman and member of the Yerington Chamber of Commerce (among his many other roles!) stirred up alot of enthusiasm for the newest event: The Taco Eating Contest! El Yusa provided the tasty tacos:



Yerington’s 2025 Independence Day Celebration created hometown memories of yet another 4th of July filled with fun, friendship and community…from the Bike Parade; Cornhole Tournament; Water Gun Games; Lion’s Club Family Fun Events; Red, White & Brew Contest; Vendors’ variety; food & beverages…concluding with the Mason Valley Fireworks Committee’s (also known as Roni Stanton) community-sponsored fireworks over Snyder’s alfalfa field.
