Nevada District 3 Little League reported “Updated brackets from Day 4 of the District 3 Softball Tournament. Championship game day on Monday, June 30th at 9 am.
“Today, the team numbers were cut in half, eliminating Walker River and White Pine, who both played amazing games with tremendous heart. Elko and Fernley are left standing to face off against each other again tomorrow for the championship banner.”

On June 26, 2025 Walker River Little League reported: “Day 1 was exciting!
Our Minors (8-10’s) went into extra innings vs. Fernley before falling in the 7th.
“These girls will rematch again tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. (June 27).
“Then our Juniors also faced off against Fernley in a back and forth thriller, coming up just short. They also will rematch against Fernley at 11:00 a.m. (June 27).
“Our Majors drew a bye in the first round and will play their first game Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. (June 28).”
