Martha Allum Diehl, a lifelong resident of Yerington, passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 92 after a short illness.
Martha was born on May 27, 1932 in Yerington to Alta Perry and William Allum. She married her high school sweetheart Gordon Diehl. Martha graduated from Yerington High School and attended UNR
Martha was a wife, mother, business partner and friend. Martha was always active in the community. Her hobbies included archery, bowling, tennis, bicycling, reading and growing flowers. Martha was active in Walker River Bowmen from its founding. In 2002 Carol Fuller, Jean Crabtree and Martha founded YAPS. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Gordon, brother Bill and sister Mary. She will be missed by her 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
