Alex Clark passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was 94.
Alex was born in Richmond, California on March 31, 1930, the youngest of 5 to his parents William and Jemina Clark.
He had many professions and businesses during his life, from Hercules Dynamite Plant, a demolition business, a liquor store and real estate. He also was the Fire Chief of Pinole, California.
Alex moved to Yerington in 1989. He was involved in the committee for the Lyon County Fair & Rodeo Board, serving as Chairman for a period of time. He was a cattle rancher and also a landlord to many. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, riding horses and exploring the desert with his sons & friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; his three children, Cholya, Chano and Kimberly Morphis; his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Alex will be buried in the family plot at Valley View Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net
