“A view of our TeeBall Field now that the sod is in”:

“Thank you so much to Peri & Sons Farms, Prime West, Arevia Power, Matt Galvin Sr. & Junior, Scott Draper and the City of Yerington.”

“By working together this field has become a beautiful asset in the Joe Parr Sports Complex. It’s hard to believe that 2 years ago it was just a dirt parking lot.”

“We can’t wait to see families in their lawn chairs, picnic blankets and more enjoying the ‘cuteness and chaos’ that is Little League TeeBall.”
“The sod came from High Desert Turf. There was a little extra at the end and that wound up installed at the city dog park that’s underway near Mountain View Park”

Walker River Little League reported another field improvement update:
“Neil Herrin Field received dirt for an infield makeover today. Thank you to Cinderlite, the Reviglio family and the City of Yerington for helping make this happen.”

“We would also like to thank Jason Borsini for helping with the project, spending many hours working on the field. We appreciate you Jason! That’s a “lotto” dirt!
For reference, Colton is something like 7 feet tall. We’re waiting for confirmation of the accuracy of that statement, so we’ll just go with that. Colton is 7’.”
