Lyon County’s Rural Nevada Counseling Held Annual Training at Pioneer Crossing in Yerington

Yerington, Nevada – On Thursday, February 6, 2025, four dozen professionals from Rural Nevada Counseling across Lyon County met at the Pioneer Crossing Convention Center in Yerington for annual training on Confidentiality, HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Ethics and Verbal De-escalation.

Trainers for this all-day gathering were Mark Disselkoen, MSSW (Master of Science in Social Work), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Work), LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor); and Crystal Jaquette, LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) from CASAT (Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies).
