Michael Eugene Sullivan, 69, of Yerington, NV, passed away peacefully with his wife, family & friends by his side on September 14, 2024. Born on August 30, 1955, affectionately known to friends & family as, Mike. He was a special part of his community and loved giving back.

Mike attended Brethren Elementary & graduated from Santa Fe High School, his favorite subject was wood shop. He was a true cowboy, a lover of all things outdoors and loved to make people laugh.

Mike’s career spanned various roles that reflected his diverse interests and strong work ethic. He spent over two decades as a Heat Treater at City Steel, followed by 8 years as a cowboy and cattleman, embracing the rugged outdoor life he so loved. Later, he shifted to a more communal role, managing the Attic Thrift Store for the Boys & Girls Club for 14 years, where he was not just a manager, but a mentor and friend to many in the community.

Known for his humor and kindness, Mike was a friend to many and loved his family, his 2 dogs and his wife, Yvonne. His hobbies were as adventurous as his spirit; including falconry, surfing, fishing, hiking, riding horses, bull riding, snake hunting, and devoted many hours to cleaning up the desert, reflecting his deep respect for nature.
