City Master Plan Update

Come participate in shaping Yerington’s future by attending an open house to discuss City Master Plan updates.

City of Yerington is embarking on an update to its 2005 Master Plan and is seeking community input. The master plan serves as a roadmap for how a community grows and develops. Topics addressed in the master plan include economic development, public utilities and transportation, public safety and schools, parks and natural resources, land use and housing. This will be the first of two open houses held during the master plan update process and will be focused on gathering initial input before the master plan is updated. An initial presentation will be given at 5PM,  followed by smaller group discussions on key elements of the master plan. Spanish interpretive services will be available.
