Yerington High School Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience.
Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, the Link Crew program trains mentors from junior and senior classes to be Link Crew Leaders. As positive role models, Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success.
On Monday, January 30, 2023 Link Leaders hustled into the gym to set up a 100 banana splits for the freshman class. Freshmen were applauded as they came into they gym, and were commended for their successes during their first 100 day. The class enjoyed the treat while watching a slide show featuring freshmen and Link Crew made by the YHS video editing class!
