The Bi-Valley Chapter of Retired Public Employees of Nevada (Bi-Valley RPEN) will return to regular 4th Tuesday meetings after a summer recess.
The annual RPEN picnic will be Tuesday August 23 at Mt. View Park from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. It will be a Pot Luck of casseroles, salads, desserts along with an entrée of tri-tip provided by the Chapter.
All State of Nevada retirees along with those age 50 and up planning to retire are invited to attend the picnic and hear the advantages of becoming an RPEN member.
Administrators Terri Laird, and Kerry Armanesco for the Carson city State Office plan to be in attendance. They will provide up-to-date information regarding PERS retirement and PEPB health benefits, including the upcoming 2023 Legislature.
Bi-Valley Chapter is promoting Regional attendance from other chapters in our state, including Washoe, Carson, Fernley, and Fallon Chapters.
Remember, for the Picnic Pot Luck bring your own table service, pot luck dish, dessert & drink! Come enjoy, and have a good time, bring a guest!
