“There is a new gardening club forming in Lyon County for all gardeners, beginners to seasoned ‘ol timers, and lovers of fruits, flowers, and vegetables. The first meeting will define the group’s goals and share ideas, tips, successes, and classes. Also up for discussion are a community garden, field trips, and an “End-of-Season Harvest Festival” to share our bounty.
Come meet like-minded people and make new friends! It’s free.
The first meeting is at Mountain View Park, S. Mountain View St., Yerington on July 9, at 8:30 a.m. Bring your coffee and lets have some fun.
For any questions please text the group organizer and horticulturist Debbie Bradley at 916-254-1964.”
