November 6, 2021: Saturday began with cool temperatures, an overcast sky and a bit of sprinkling rain. Families, fans, and athletes gathered on the field at Shadow Mountain Park near Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada at a tent city preparing for the 2021 NIAA Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association State Championships for Cross-country.
Misty Stevens wrote: “We are thrilled to welcome Paige Bethmann ,Shai Ben-Dor ,and Zack Kiszka of SCHH (productions) from the Big Apple as they continue gathering footage for Remaining Native. We are happy to share positive space and resources with our friends from Damonte and Owyhee Schools; good luck runners!”
Kutoven Stevens, with an official time of 16:28, had the fastest time of the day (all runners, all divisions)! This is 19 seconds FASTER than he ran last Saturday (10/29/2021)on the same course, with the fastest time that day.
